Maintain optimal oral health with our general dental care services

General dentistry is the foundation of a healthy smile. And it aims to prevent, detect, and treat oral problems before they become hard to treat. Listed below is a range of general dental care services our team provides to ensure your teeth and gums stay healthy and strong.

  • Teeth cleanings: We recommend visiting a dentist at least twice yearly for periodic dental cleanings. During a professional cleaning, our dental hygienists remove plaque and tartar from your mouth to prevent cavities, bad breath, gum disease, and other dental issues.
  • Routine dental exams: During your biannual dental cleanings, we also examine your mouth for signs of oral cancer, gum disease, cavities, misalignment, failing dental work, etc. The objective is to detect and treat dental problems that may have gone unnoticed at home. Our regular dental exams also involve dental x-rays to understand your oral health beyond what is visible above the gum line. Dental x-rays can help us detect cysts, bone loss, impacted wisdom teeth, hidden cavities, and other issues that may go unnoticed during visual or physical examinations.
  • Periodontal care: There is a connection between your mouth and the overall body, so we strive to ensure your mouth remains healthy to protect your overall well-being. Our gum therapy services prevent and eliminate gum infections to keep your gingival tissues healthy.
  • Root canal therapy: We use root canals (endodontic therapy) to treat infected or damaged tooth pulp. During a root canal, we remove the diseased pulp and restore your tooth with a filling or dental crown to restore its appearance and function. Root canals save your tooth from extraction and costly tooth replacement options.
